Ames Basketball Club

Youth Basketball | Grades 3-8

The Ames Basketball Club (A Club) is sponsored by the Ames Booster Club and was formed in 2009. The A Club provides young athletes with consistent instruction in the fundamentals of the sport. Instruction is provided under the direction of the coaching staffs of the boys’ and girls’ teams at Ames High School. Additionally, the A Club allows players to regularly compete in games against other club teams.

The A Club registers fully formed teams and does not take individual registrations. This offers the most efficient method to administer the league.

If you are looking to join an already established team, please CLICK HERE to email our director. Include your child’s name, gender and grade level. We will provide your information to the coaches at your child’s level and they will reach out to contact you if they are looking to add players.

Please Note: It is unlikely that our teams will have roster spots available. We will do what we can to facilitate the process of informing coaches that players are looking for teams, but the decision to add a player is ultimately up to them.
